This is my 10th year as a teacher at West DeFuniak Elementary. I have taught 4th grade and 2nd grade and, after all of these years, I have to say 2nd grade is my favorite! I believe in collaboration and self-learning experiences. We don't just read about subjects in our classroom - we experience them! I have been married for 7 years and I have one daughter, Emma, who starts Kindergarten at WDE this year. I also have one special pet - Sam (an enthusiastic black Labrador). My favorite things to do are scallop in the summer and snow ski in the winter. I also love to participate in local 5K races. I look at life as a big adventure and I look forward to sharing this year's adventure in learning with YOU!
